If you live in the Atlanta area, you know all about Big Oomp Camps’ youngest in charge: Big Korey. Big Korey is the son of Big Oomp, founder of Big Oomp Records, an independent label that has supported acts such as Flo Rida, Plies, Ludacris, and DJ Unk. Starting at the age 4, Korey has been a production prodigy that has worked with Dallas Austin, Jazze Pha’, and a slew of Atlanta’s most successful producers. Gucci Mane recently acquired Korey’s talents on his album “The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted” with the track “Trap Talk”. Korey, now 13 has honed his lyrical skills into a budding rap career. Going by his birth name, Korey Roberson, he is proving that he is as gifted on the mic as he is on the production. Korey Roberson, a.k.a. “Big Korey”, recently joined BMI’s songwriting family. He is currently working on his first mixtape to gear up for his first studio album.
