A person cannot deny their fate, regardless of what path they take to reach their ultimate destiny. The road to stardom is paved with missed chances, dubious deals, should haves and second guessing. Artist, songwriter and MYFAM Productions producer LowKey seized every opportunity presented to him since setting off on his road to stardom. This path traces back to the streets of Brooklyn where LowKey was raised.

“I been writing and producing forever,” says LowKey who is also a percussionist. LowKey began working with NYC area artists to write and produce a fresh blend of Hip Hop & R&B that reminds us all of when music was fun! Working with a number of NYC area artists and engineers led to the creation of MYFAM Productions in 2005. MYFAM Productions music has appeared on several mix CD’s throughout the NYC Metro area.

In addition to producing for NYC artists, LowKey teamed up with Logan, a talented songwriter and singer from Brooklyn. Together LowKey and Logan go by the name “LO-LO” and proved to be trendsetters in the hip hop soul arena. LO-LO performed their hit song “I’m Feeling It” at various NYC venues, in addition to receiving airplay on webradio.com and being featured on the Fully Focus Entertainment Hot 97 Radio Hitz Volume 2 CD. LowKey teamed up with other area artists to release the debut album entitled LO-LO & MYFAM. MYFAM Productions began producing showcases featuring NYC area artists. From these showcases, the “We Run Brooklyn” DVD was born.

MYFAM Productions was featured on several Coast2Coast mixtapes, including Vol. 70, hosted by Red Café which had a record setting 1,700,000 downloads http://www.coast2coastmixtapes.com/mixtapes/ mixtapereport.aspx?mixtapeid=342. MYFAM Productions later released “Grind Stack” “Blow Your Mind” “Where You Are” and “Who Da Fuka U” in addition to the Futuristic Artist Material mixtape featuring various artists: http://www.datpiff.com/Lowkey-Futuristic-Artist-Material-mixtape.181598.html.
