New Artist: Zachari Lee “GO SLOW” ft. Slim of 112 [Ivy League Music Group]

Zachari Lee’s was surrounded by school books, plastic cups, beer pong tables, headphones
and of course a recording studio, Zachari Lee has kicked in the doors to the music
industry in “wrecking havoc” fashion. In 2009, Lee posted astounding
numbers on the world famous Myspace accumulating 9.5 MILLION plays on
Myspace in less than 40 days. Zachari Lee’s music successful release
was “Like I’m Famous”, a track that Zachari Lee wrote on the
production of Canadian producer Mark Bos. The song received 3.2
million plays alone.
Just a small town boy with big city dreams, the Carolina native
graduated high school and moved to Greensboro, NC to attend North
Carolina A&T State University. After being in pursuit of a Bachelors
of Science in Marketing for half of his first semester, Lee realized
that life is too big to be so complacent with a “9 to 5” job. Lee
began to enter spoken word events, and eventually linked up with other
students who had “dorm room studios.” After recording several tracks
from a dorm, Lee was introduced to Ira Parker, CEO and President of
Maximus Music Recording Studios. The rest was history; Lee is
officially in hot pursuit of iconic altitudes of success.
Starting out with the cliche’ pen and pad story in 2002, Zachari has
managed to grow and develop into one of the most talented emcee’s and
songwriters of today. After meeting key contact, Tommy Rotem through
Myspace in 2009, Lee has managed to submit songs for Leona Lewis,
Jordan Sparks, and IYAZ. Along with songwriting endeavors, Lee has
opened up for well renowned musical sensation Chrisete Michele, along
with Flo-rida, Mike Jones, Plies, and J.Blue. Zachari Lee headlined
his own high school circuit tour in Carolina, the “Like I’m Famous”
tour. Performing in front of thousands of high school and college
students at a time, it was evident that Lee’s performance skills come
natural, ” After studying the game for years and watching performance
after performance it became a part of me. Performing is who I am. This
is my life.”
