Elijah Vegas was born 11 years ago on April 16th, on the small island of St. Croix, part of the United States Virgin Islands chain. His parents, Vernon and Jamalia Vegas, moved to Atlanta, Georgia, in 2001, when he was only 3 years old. Elijah began showing an active interest in the entertainment world, as he began his 5th grade year. It was then he told his parents he wanted to become an actor.  Quite surprised at his seriousness to pursue this dream, Vernon and Jamalia enrolled him in YourAct, an acting school, in April 2008. Elijah has learned acting methods and techniques in Improv, Theater, On-Camera, and Voice-over, and has also attended various acting workshops, trying to perfect his craft.  In recent events, he was a co-host to performing center academy, All Star Performance, grand opening of their new center and also had a small talking role in local Atlanta rapper, Shawty Lo’s new “Crazy†video. Elijah also auditioned for and obtained the lead role of an upcoming play that is speaking on a very serious subject in our schools today, “Bullying†and also played the role of young Ali in the upcoming Travis Porter short film.  Elijah is a very bright, witty kid with an outgoing personality. He is kind of a new age Will Smith with a “Fresh Prince of Bel Air†attitude and has just recorded his first single, “Just Don’t Understand†featuring Rock City.
